Got the no-baby-yet-blues. Due Dec 6th.
I've been having contractions here and there for the last few days, started losing my plug in pieces. Went in for my post-EDD check up today and I'm not dilated at all! I know that doesn't necessarily mean much, considering some women walk around a few cm dilated for weeks, but I'm still disappointed. I want to meet my baby, I want my family. Also, uh, I'm tired of being pregnant! Haha.
My mom flew in from California on Thanksgiving and is hoping to catch the birth (first grandbaby), and my sister is flying in tomorrow for five days. It's not about them, it's about me and baby, but I still feel bad that I haven't delivered yet. For the record, there is no pressure from them, it's all me.
The other thing is that I really don't want to be induced. I mean, it is what it is and it's about the health of my baby and me, not my dream plan, but I really wanted a natural birth with as little manipulation as possible. It could still happen. I hate not knowing.
Anyone else in this boat?
